The journey to bring fresh Bánh Mì to the Triangle

Our journey started in 2016 when our family moved from Ft. Lewis, WA to Morrisville, NC. Instantly, we missed the freshly baked, crispy and airy bread that wrapped the most tasty cold cuts and vegetables. Hence, it became our mission to bring the freshest Vietnamese bread to the Triangle area.

In 2018, we traveled throughout Northern, Central, and Southern Vietnam to learn from local bakeries and baking schools. We gained valuable experience and wonderful stories from each neighborhood bakery.

When we came back to the Triangle, we started to perfect our recipe with local ingredients. It took us over three years of trial and error to perfect the crusty, airy baguette essential for authentic Vietnamese Bánh Mì. As a result, our bánh mì’s mouthwatering aroma and light texture combine perfectly with a variety of proteins, crispy pickled vegetables, creamy mayonnaise, made-from-scratch pâté, and fresh herbs.
